There were some pretty cool and freaky moments, however…
Premise
It’s never smart- and it’s even unethical- to pass off a fabricated story as real. The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity almost crossed this line, but stayed within bounds by not using names and events that were easy to prove as false. Which is too bad because telling The Fourth Kind in a straight-forward manner would have produced a much more chilling and likeable tale.
