Little things
At the end, the main recognition of Michael’s love for Sandra Bullock is when he went back to her car and hugged her. It was nice to not have an overly schmaltzy scene, yet I felt this moment needed more.
At no point did Michael even say thank you to his new parents!
Finally, there was a point near the middle where Sandra told Michael to call her Leigh Anne or Mama (I think it was Mama…maybe Momma). It would have been dramatic had Michael called her Leigh Anne until the end and then finally called her Momma.
